Rebuilt Diesel Injector Pump for 1980 - 1985 Vanagon with 1.6 Diesel (Normally Aspirated). This pump has the bent throttle arm to fit the Vanagon engine.
Included in the price is a $150 core charge. When you send me your pump back, I will refund the $150.
When I rebuild the pumps I replace all the seals, feed pump, rotor, and anything else that is worn or corroded. The pump is then tested on a test stand.
The pump is tested on a test stand where the idle is set and the output of the pump is flow matched for all the cylinders. The pump is then installed on a 1.6L VW Diesel engine and further tested on the engine.
